Administrator Level Options

Description

There are options on the IP phone that both a User and Administrator can access. However, there are specific options
that an Administrator can access only. These options allow the Administrator to configure and manage local and/or
remote IP phones in a network.
An Administrator can access and manage these options using the IP Phone UI, the Aastra Web UI, or the configuration
files.

IP Phone UI Options

Using the IP Phone UI, you can access the Administrator options at Options->Admin Menu using the default password
of "22222"
The following are administrator options in the "Options List" on all IP phones EXCEPT the 6739i and 6867i:
• Administrator Menu
– Configuration Server
– SIP Settings
– Network Settings
– Factory Default
– Erase Local Config
The 6739i uses graphical icons to display the Administrator (Advanced) options on the 6739i phone, as shown in the fol-
lowing illustration.
