Connecting to a Scopia XT Executive Used as a Room Endpoint

If using the Scopia XT Executive as a room endpoint, you must first connect to Scopia XT
Control before using your keyboard and mouse to control the Scopia XT Executive. The
icon appears, indicating that authentication is required.

Basic functions using Scopia XT Control
Function
Using your
keyboard
Select an option
Press Enter.
Enter text
Enter the characters
(numbers,
uppercase,
lowercase, etc.)
using your keyboard.
Go back to previous
Press Esc.

then Enter.
Move windows in

Press ok/menu.
Use the XT Remote
Control Unit keypad
to enter letters and
digits.
The current input
method, abc1 by
default, is displayed
in the field you are
in.
Press
Back.
and then press
ok/menu.
Press and hold the
Layouts
key
and select the
desired layout. For
more information,
see
"Changing the
Video Layout During
the Call" on page
51.
When you are not in
a call, press one of
the following:
Delete
Back
