TRANSMISSION
INSTALLATION
Install the shift drum.
Apply a locking agent to the screw threads and
install the bearing stopper plates.

BEARING STOPPER PLATES
Install the shift forks and shaft.
CAUTION:
Install the shift fork shaft so that the plugged
end is toward the left side.
Install the lock washer and tighten the center fork
bolt.
TORQUE: 16-20 N·m (1.6-2.0 kg-m, 12-14 ft-Ib)
Bend the lock washer tabs up.
