Using a piston, push the ring into the cylinder
squarely and measure the end gap.
SERVICE LIMITS:
TOP:
SECOND:
OIL (Side rail):
Measure the piston 0.0.
NOTE:
Take measurements 10 mm (0.4 in) from the
bottom, and 90° to the piston pin hole.
SERVICE LIMIT: 79.35 mm (3.124
in)
Inspect the cylinder bores for wear or damage.
Measure the cylinder 1.0. at three levels in X and Y
axis.
SERVICE LIMIT: 79.60 mm (3.134 in)
Calculate the piston-to-cylinder clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
Oversize pistons are available in the following sizes:
0.25,0.50,0.75 and 1.00 mm.
