In the left-most field, the last name of the physician or technician
selected as the default name is shown.
When other is selected, a menu to enter up to 10 names (4-digit ID
number, first name, last name) is shown. The default name (and ID) is
automatically selected at power-up.

accept non-unique IDs).
The Referring Physician is only relevant if ECGs are sent to the MUSE
CV system. This name will not be annotated on the ECG recording. To
