NOT CLOSE CORRECTLY, WHICH CAN LEAD TO PROB-
LEMS SUCH AS:
•
PRESSURE DROP;
•
ENGINE OVERHEAT;
•
VALVE BURN OUT, ETC.
Braking system
Level check
Brake fluid check
•
Rest the vehicle on its stand.
•
For the front brake, turn the handlebar fully to the right.
•
For the rear brake, keep the vehicle upright so that the fluid in the reservoir is at the same
level with the plug.
•
Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir is above the "MIN" reference mark:
MIN = minimum level
MAX = maximum level
If the fluid does not reach at least the "MIN" reference mark:
•
Check brake pads and disc for wear.
•
If the pads and/or the disc do not need replacing, top-up the fluid.
Top-up
Front brake:
•
Unscrew and remove the three fixing
screws (1) of the brake fluid tank cover
(2).
•
Lift and remove the cover (3).
•
Remove the under-cover (4).
•
Remove the diaphragm (5).
•
Top-up brake fluid tank.
