•
Using the belt tensioning tool, tension the belt to the prescribed torque and tighten the set
screw.
•
Remove the belt tensioning tool.
•
Lock the set screw in position by screwing the lock nut.
Specific tooling
020677Y Generator belt tensioner, lever for belt tensioning
•
Tighten the alternator fixing screws.
•
Insert the alternator cover from below
taking care not to scratch it as shown
in the figure
•
Insert the upper screws
