(between the sensor connector PIN 3 and the ENGINE PIN 38) and restore the cable har-
ness.
WARNING
The control unit does not detects the following malfunctions of the oxygen sensor circuit according to
the signal: interrupted circuit, shorted to ground or sensor malfunction (for example non variable volt-
age). In case of fault indication, carry out the following troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting
•
Check circuit continuity from probe connector (PIN 1 and PIN 2) toward the probe: replace
the oxygen sensor if there is no continuity; if there is continuity, check the sensor connector
and the Marelli control unit connector: If not OK, restore. If OK, check continuity between
the ENGINE connector PIN 38 and PIN 9 and restore the cable harness.
