Electrical system
The vehicle can be started if the immobilizer system is faulty.
The instrument panel need not be replaced should the ignition switch be changed.
New keys can be programmed
The instrument panel has an immobilizer which
prevents start-up in case the system does not
identify a key which has been programmed before.
The vehicle is supplied with two keys already pro-
grammed. The instrument panel accepts a maxi-
mum of four keys at the same time
(functions that can be performed by the user)
CODE MODIFICATION
This function is used to modify an old code. Once
you have entered this function, the following mes-
sage is displayed:
"INSERT YOUR OLD USER CODE"
After recognising the old code, the new code is re-
quested and the display shows the following mes-
sage:
"INSERT YOUR NEW USER CODE"
If it is the first time a code is stored, only the new
code is requested.
After inserting the code it remains displayed until the instrument panel is switched off.
(functions can be checked out by the dealer)

THE FUNCTIONS OF THE "STORAGE KEYS", "USER CODE RESET" AND "ODOMETER COD-
ING", CAN BE DONE ONLY WHEN NO ELECTRICAL ERRORS ARE PRESENT.
NOTE
THE "KEY STORAGE" FUNCTION CAN BE CARRIED OUT ONLY IF THE USER CODE IS OTHER
THAN "00000"
