Engine
•
Remove the two dowel pins on the stud
bolts.
•
Remove the two gaskets between the
crankcase and the cylinder.
•
Cover the crankcase opening with a
clean cloth.

NOTE
THE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED BELOW REFER TO ONE HEAD REMOVING ONLY BUT APPLY
TO BOTH HEADS.
•
Remove the cylinder.
•
Cover the crankcase opening with a
clean cloth.
•
Release the snap ring.
•
Remove the pin.
•
Mark the piston crown on the exhaust
side so as to remember the refitting po-
sition.
•
Remove the piston.
