Removing the water pump and shift
rod
1. Remove the water pump housing, impel-
ler, Woodruff key, outer plate cartridge,
and gasket, and then set the gear shift to
the N position. See steps 1 and 2 in
"Removing the water pump and shift rod"
(8-13) and step 3 in "Removing the water
pump and shift rod" (8-9).
2. Remove the plate, oil seal, O-ring, and
shift rod. See step 2 in "Removing the
water pump and shift rod" (8-67).
