Step 1. Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on
page 116.
Step 2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables,
if necessary.
Step 3. Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 119).
Step 4. Remove the media cage (see "Removing the media cage" on page 234).
Step 5. Disconnect the cable from the back of the LCD system information display panel.
Step 6. 1 Pull the tab on the LCD retention bracket to the left to disengage the retention bracket.

Step 7. Carefully remove the LCD system information display panel out of the LCD panel assembly.
