Cause
No mouse is detected.
No mouse driver is installed.
You entered a name consisting of all
blank spaces.
The maximum number of protocols in
a panel is 32.
System needs more memory to
calculate the statistics for an
amorphous region.
Software cannot write information to
file.
The Panel Loadlist file could not be
read.
Software cannot find the file in the
directory.
The System detected an error during
the file save operation.
Workstation/Cytometer
communication error
Software cannot load the file.
Software cannot load the named file,
or the named file is invalid.
Software cannot calculate the available
disk space.
Instrument cannot receive Cytometer
program's version.
Instrument can use protocol files
created using the XL or XL-MCL flow
cytometer software only.
TROUBLESHOOTING
ERROR MESSAGES
Action
Tighten mouse connector.
At the Workstation turn the system off,
and then turn it back on.
Call your Coulter Representative.
Enter another name.
Delete some protocols and then add
others.
At the Workstation turn the system off,
and then turn it back on.
Specify the correct directories on the
Utilities Configuration screen.
OR
Use archive on the Utilities
Configuration screen and free up disk
space.
1. Ensure that the panel loadlist file
exists.
2. Run MCL again.
From File menu, select Rebuild.
Repeat the operation.
At the Workstation turn the system off,
and then turn it back on.
Specify the correct directories on the
Utilities Configuration screen.
OR
From File menu, select Rebuild.
Specify the correct directories on
Utilities Configuration screen.
OR
From File menu, select Rebuild.
At the Workstation turn the system off,
and then turn it back on.
At the Workstation turn the system off,
