To upgrade the CPLD of several boards, turn off the power after the operation for one
board is completed, and then mount the next board and repeat the operations from the

To change the CPLD by using a new chain, perform operations from the 6
using the Chain file where the operations have been performed previously.
Programming for the MP10/11 Option Board
1) The CPLD which is located in the MFM/RCM/MIS board can be programmed by
being mounted on the MP10/11 board.
2) To set two or more CPLDs, the Daisy chain form should be configured.
When the option board is mounted on the MP10/11 board, Part1 should be set as
MP10/11, Part2 should be set as MFM, Part3 should be set as RCM and Part4 should
be set as MIS, and this order should be kept.
3) When not to perform programming although the option board is mounted, set [N: Bypass
Mode] as the operation mode in the Chain file.
4) To change the information of [PART1], locate the cursor on [PART1] on the following
window and select [Edit].
