2.5.2 4TRM Module

The 4TRM module is mounted on the UNI board and provides the circuit to connect four
C.O. lines(Loop Start C.O Line). Each port can connect general C.O. line, a private phone
or a general phone line of another keyphone system. The 4TRM module uses the up-to-date
DAA chip by Clare Inc. to minimize the use of passive elements including a transformer.
Therefore, it reduces the system weight, provides a highly integrated degree and supports
high voice quality. Up to three 4TRM modules can be mounted on an UNI board and the
OfficeServ 7100 system can mount the maximum 6 6TRM modules.
2.5.2.1 Block Diagram
The following figure shows the 4TRM block diagram. The circuit in the blue box is the
4TRM module and the block diagram describes the connection to the UNI board.
