Data recovery for PSUE using ShadowImage

When a pair was suspended (PSUE) due to a failure in the array, collect the
CCI system log files and call the Hitachi maintenance personnel (see
splitting guidelines, on page
Maintenance personnel will remove the source of error in the array. After
the source of the error has been removed, the system administrator must
recover the pair using the CCI commands.

Recovering the pair

Make sure that the system administrator has verified that the PSUE
occurred while resynchronizing from S-VOL to P-VOL (pairresync –restore).

Data Assurance
P-VOL: Assured
Resynchronize (pairresync) in the direction of P-VOL
S-VOL: Not
to S-VOL. Note that the pair may have been split due
