To configure MLD on the ZXR10 5900E, perform the following steps:

Enters MLD mode. This is
not related to whether MLD
is enabled. That whether
MLD is enabled id controlled
by IPv6 multicast-routing.
Use the no format of this
command to delete all MLD
configuration and restore the
default configuration.
Enters MLD interface
configuration mode. This
is not related to whether MLD
is enabled on an interface.
That whether MLD is enabled
on an interface is controlled by
whether PIM is enabled on an
interface. Use the no format
of this command to delete
the interface configuration
and restore the default
configuration.
Configures mapping from
groups in a specified range to
the source.
Discards the
MLD
packets
without carrying the
Router_Alert_Options option in
IPv6 headers.
To restore the default setting,
run the no form of this
command.
