Before You Begin
Note -
Slot 5 accept long cards. PCIe Slots 2 and 3 are an exception and support 75 Watt PCIe cards.
However, only one 75 Watt card can be installed in the server at one time. It is suggested to
install the 75 Watt card in Slot 2 for better cooling.
1. Prepare the server for PCI card removal. See:
■ "Power Off the Server" on page 59
"Disconnect Cables From the Server" on page 60
■
"Remove the Server From the Rack" on page 60
■
■ "Perform Antistatic Measures" on page 61
■ "Remove the Top Cover" on page 62
2. Remove the PCI air duct.
Lift it straight up
Release the PCI card release tab.

Pull it up and to the left
