Using the Monitoring Page

The Monitoring Page is used for observing the performance of
the RX System over time. Monitoring allows you to watch key
parameters such as Link Quality and BER when the PC is
remote from the RX and the RX display is not visible.
Monitoring lets you see the results of any changes made by the
front panel controls on the RXU and RCU. You can also monitor
system performance as you optimize other aspects of the signal
path.
There are two functions controlled by buttons on the Monitoring
Page:
• Recall Preset
• Log to FIle
Both of these are explained in more detail in the sections that
follow.
Recall Preset
remotely set the RX System to use another preset. You can then
monitor the System performance, and compare this preset to the
previous one.
To use Recall Preset, follow these steps:
1. Display the presets.
On the Monitoring Page, click the drop down arrow to
the right of the Preset Window (next to the Recall
Preset button).
2. Select the Preset.
Click on the desired Preset in the drop down list.
3. Click on Recall Preset.
