Selecting a Channel
For each band installed, the Strata RX can be preconfigured for
operation on any of up to 14 Channels, with (+), (++), and (-)
offsets (depending on band).
The Frequencies assigned to each Channel must be configured
using the Strata RX configurator software. Once defined, the
Frequencies cannot be changed from the front panel.
For information on configuring Channels, see the "Configurator
Reference" chapter of the Strata RX Technical Reference
Manual.
Channels and Presets The selection of Channel is
independent of the Preset chosen:
•
When you change a Preset, the last Channel chosen
stays in effect.
•
When you change the Channel, the last Preset chosen
stays in effect.
To select which Channel to use, follow these steps:
Be sure Strata is connected and
powered. See "Setting Up" and
"Turning the power ON and OFF".
Start at the Main Screen.

Turn the Control Switch LEFT until the
display reads
Set Channel.

Push the Control Switch to select
Set Channel.
channel setting begins to blink.
Turn the Control Switch LEFT until the
desired Channel and Offset are
displayed.
Push the Control Switch to select that
Channel and Offset.
Display changes back to the Main
Screen.
To check that the channel has changed correctly, follow these
steps:
Turn the Control Switch RIGHT until
the RF Monitor Screen is displayed.
The display should indicated the
newly-selected Channel.
Frequencies Locked to Presets If your RX has the
"Frequencies Locked to Presets" option enabled, the Frequency
that is locked to a given Preset may or may not be the same as
one of the Channel Frequencies. If it is not, the RX will display
Not On Channel when you reach the Set Channel
Command Screen.
