If you need to add, remove or replace an RXU or
RCU after the connection to the RX is established,
first click the Disconnect button. Then change the
hardware and click Connect to Radio.
The Configurator does not keep checking the
hardware after the connection is made. Thus it will
not automatically detect the hardware change and
you will not be able to configure the new hardware.

Viewing the Monitoring Page

The Monitoring Page provides a wealth of information about your
RX System. The Monitoring Page automatically adapts to the
operating mode the RX is using, so that the information
presented is relevant to current operations.
Below are some examples and notes to help you use this
information.
External IF An example of a Monitoring Page when the
Operation Mode is set to External IF is shown in Figure 5-18.
MPEG CV An example of a Monitoring Page when the
Operation Mode is set to MPEG CV is shown in Figure 5-19.
Unlocked If there is a problem with the link and the RX cannot
Lock on the incoming signal, the RX will automatically cycle
through different modulation settings trying to re-establish the
link.
On the Monitoring Page, you will see that the COFDM
information keeps changing over time. This is normal and will
continue until the RX can re-establish lock.
Chroma Setting The Strata RX will automatically detect the
Chroma setting of the incoming signal and set up the receiver to
match this setting. However, the Chroma setting does not appear
on the Monitoring Page, or on any other page or menu.
PID Values The Monitoring Page displays PID values for Audio
A, Audio B, and Video when in digital operation. See Figure 5-19.
These values are fixed numbers, because PID functionality is not
yet implemented. Contact Vislink for the latest status on PID
functionality.
