4 Unscrew the syringe from the valve.
5 To install the syringe: (as shown in Figure 5-1)
a. Screw the syringe into the valve.
b. Pull the syringe plunger down to the plunger holder assembly.
c. Screw the syringe plunger into place.
d. Slide the plunger lock screw through the plunger buttons and fasten to the
carriage.
6 Re-initialize the pump.
Note: Make sure the plunger lock screw is securely tightened and the plunger
button is free to move on the plunger lock screw.

To replace the reagent syringe seals, follow these steps:
1 Remove the syringe from the pump.
2 Remove the plunger guide.
