Quick reference guide - telephone base

REDIAL/PAUSE
• Press repeatedly to view the last
10 numbers dialed (page 63).
• While entering numbers,
press and hold to insert a dialing
pause (page 50).
/HANDSET LOCATOR
• Press the button
to page all system
handsets (page 67).
/VOLUME/
• Press to adjust the volume during
message playback (page 123).
• Press to adjust the volume during
a call (page 58).
• When the phone is not in use, press
to adjust the telephone base ringer
volume for all lines (page 36).
MUTE
• During a call, press to mute the
microphone (page 59).
• While the telephone base is ringing,
press to silence the ringer temporarily
(page 53).

• While reviewing a caller ID log entry, press
repeatedly to add or remove 1 in front of the
telephone number before dialing or saving it
in the directory (page 97).
• Press and hold to set (page 41) or dial your
voicemail number.
QUIET # (pound key)
• Press repeatedly to display other
dialing options when reviewing a
caller ID log entry (page 97).
• Press and hold to enter the
QUIET mode setting screen, or to
deactivate QUIET mode (page 48).

• Press to switch to tone dialing temporarily
during a call if you have pulse service (page 59).
