Top hat rail mounting kit (Part No. 788652)
In the IQ8Control C/M FACP housing can be installed a top hat rail mounting kit (optional). This mounting kit
comprises of a mounting base and a standard 35 mm top hat rail (C-mounting). In order to facilitate mounting
and removal, the top hat rail is fitted to the mounting base by means of two screws.
Variant 1
With the kit a maximum of two module housings Part No.788603 / 788603.10 (optional) can be installed inside
the panel housing. The module housing for top hat rail mounting accepts all the format 72 x 65 or 82 x 72 mm
(W x H) FACP boards e.g. esserbus
Variant 2
In addition to the module housing, an optical fibre converter Part No.784763/64 with a clip for top hat rail
mounting may be installed inside the panel housing.

Unscrew and remove the lower right FACP housing screw.
Grasp the lower right corner of the front FACP housing half and lift it up carefully from the rear
FACP housing half (max. 5mm).
Mount the top-hat rail assembly in the middle and right rear screw holes of the rear FACP housing
half. Make sure that the top-hat rail assembly is positioned correctly!
Replace the front FACP housing half on the rear FACP housing half.
Re-insert the FACP casing screw in the lower right screw hole and tighten it.
Damage to the system
Remove all power from the panel before carrying out any installation work (batteries and mains
supply).
Always check that the connection cables are long enough!
Ensure that no cables are pinched or damaged when installing or removing the assembly.
