Protocol Configuration

The Protocol Configuration menu allows you to configure the device's SIP parameters
and contains the following submenus:
Applications Enabling (refer to "Enabling Applications" on page 109)
Media Realms (refer to "Configuring Media Realms" on page 110)
Protocol Definition (refer to ''Protocol Definition'' on page 111)
Proxies/IpGroups/Registration (refer to ''Proxies, IP Groups, and Registration'' on page
114)
Coders And Profile Definitions (refer to ''Coders and Profile Definitions'' on page 127)
SIP Advanced Parameters (refer to ''SIP Advanced Parameters'' on page 135)
SAS (refer to "SAS Parameters" on page 138)
Manipulation Tables (refer to ''Manipulation Tables'' on page 142)
Routing Tables (refer to ''Routing Tables'' on page 149)
Trunk Group (refer to ''Trunk Groups'' on page 168)

Enabling Applications

The 'Applications Enabling' page allows you to enable the following applications:
SAS application
IP-to-IP (IP2IP) application
Notes:
To enable an application:
1.
Open the 'Applications Enabling' page (Configuration tab > Protocol Configuration
menu > Applications Enabling page item).
2.
Save the changes to the device's flash memory and reset the device (refer to ''Saving
Configuration'' on page 190).
Version 5.8
This page displays the application only if the device is installed with the
relevant Feature Key supporting the application (refer to "Loading a
Software Upgrade Key" on page 194).
For enabling an application, a device reset is required.
