4.7 Hot Addition of PCI Express cards
6. Select [Hot Partition Maintenance (Target unit in a running partition.)] and click [Next]
7. Maintenance mode is set (with information area of MMB Web-UI gray out) and then replacement
instruction for the particular PCIC appears. Add a new PCI Express card with this window displayed.
See the figure in
Express card to be replaced.
Note
Do NOT click [Next] until adding the PCIC.
8. After adding the particular PCIC, mount cables other than LAN cables.
Note
In GLS configuration with NIC switching way, mount also LAN cables.
