It is compulsory that each installation is equipped with a back end protection valve (thermal shock valve) to permit uniform
temperatures at the start up of the thermo-stove and to avoid condensation inside the combustion chamber. Bronpi
approved Distributors can supply such a valve.
(In case of fitter chooses install a buffer tank it must connect the remote thermostat to control this tank to the terminals at the rear
of the thermo-stove marked "Termos ambiente (room thermostat)" AND also change the setting/parameter in the technical menu
M-10-4-13 from "2" to "1". That is in the case that we want the boiler or thermostove to continue operating according to the water
temperature.
SANITARY HOT WATER TANK (SHW)
If our thermo-stove or insert has been connected with a SHW tank we have to consider the following:
-
Our thermo-stove or insert can only control one SHW tank, in other case we do not guarantee the correct work of the boiler in case of
replacing this system for any alternative one.
-
This tank must be equipped with a thermostat that measure the temperature inside and control the exchange water intake if necessary.
-
In warm seasons (summer or Autumn) where it is not necessary to simultaneously use the heating and SHW and only the SHW is
necessary we need to programme the display that the system works in "Summer" mode. Then the thermo-stove will only work when
there is a demand from the SHW tank.
-
We have to note that when the thermo-stove or insert will work in "winter" mode
the SHW system has preference over the heating circuit.
The installer or technical service engineer, during commissioning of
the thermo-stove, has to choose the power (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 in MENU 10)
for the thermo-stove under the SHW demand, depending on the ability
of the exchanger. This setting defines the default power used under SHW
demand, once SHW water reaches the desired temperature, the thermo-stove will
then take into account the corresponding power setting programmed for Heating
water. Below you can see the messages shown on the display when the SHW heating
system works (see drawings D22 and D23).
EXTERNAL COMMANDS CONNECTIONS.
Both of insert and thermo-stove are equipped with a series of connectors, at the rear,
to facilitate the connection with different controllers (see drawing D24).
External room thermostat (TERMOS. AMBIENTE).
Buffer store or SHW (TERMOS. ACS).
3-way motorised valve:
-
"P2" servomotor connexion to activate the heating circuit.
-
"P2" servomotor connexion to activate the SHW circuit.
-
"F" Power supply.
In order for the thermo-stove or insert to obey the demand of any
external thermostat, heating or SHW, the menu 5 "stand-by mode" must
be place in position "on". See section 9.3.6.
It is important that the thermostats connected are "VOLT FREE"; it means that they cannot carry voltage. Otherwise, the
electronic circuit board of the boiler and some of its components will suffer irreversible damages.

STARTUP
The ignition of this kind of equipments is automatic, so, please do not put on the burner any kind of material to ignition.
It is forbidden to use liquid substances such as alcohol, gasoline, petroleum or similar products. The use of this substance
leads the loss of warranty.
Before the ignition, follow the next verifications:
-
The electrical cable must be connected to the electrical network (230 Vac) with a socket equipped with earthing system.
-
The bipolar switch, placed on the rear side of the thermo-stove or insert, must be in position I.
-
The pellet tank must be supplied.
-
The combustion chamber must be clean.
-
The burner must be clean and properly placed.
-
The combustion chamber door must be closed correctly.
During the first ignition could happen that the thermo-stove or insert has finished the ignition cycle and there is no flame. In this case the
thermo-stove or insert automatically starts an alarm state. This happens because the fuel feeder is empty and needs a moment to fill in. To
solve this problem start again the thermo-stove or insert (taking into account the previous considerations) until the flame appears.
The thermo-stove or insert, at the beginning, must be subject to different start-up cycles so that all materials and the paint can complete
different elastic expansions.
At the beginning, it is possible that you note smoke or smell which are typically produced when metals are subject to high temperatures or
when the paint is still fresh. This paint is boiled at 80º C for a few minutes when construction, but it must exceed for a time the temperature of
200 ºC before the adhesion to the metallic surfaces.
