Creating a Project

Overview
As shown in the eXLhoist Configuration Software diagram, there are 3 ways to start a project:
Create a new project with default values

Open an existing project

Create a new project with the configuration stored in a connected Remote Device

(see page 180).
These 3 ways can be realized form the starting screen but also from the main menu.
Create a New Project with Default Values
Follow the procedure to create a new project with default values.
Step Action
1 From the starting screen, click Create a project button.
Note: From the main menu, select File → New.
2 A device selection window is displayed:
Select the appropriate device.
3 Click Create button.
Result: The project window is activated.
