ALARM FUNCTION

A) ICE ALARM:
• This means that there may be ice on

If the alarm remains after you have topped up, have the vehicle
checked by an Authorised MALAGUTI Service Centre.

matic)

When the ignition key is turned ON
started, the message LOW OIL PRESSURE should appear for
about 8 seconds, thus signalling that the engine oil pressure
sensor is working; the LOW OIL PRESSURE message should
disappear as soon as the vehicle is started.

The function is displayed for 15 sec-
onds at the centre of the display, when
the sensor is recording a temperature
equal to or lower than 4°C.
After 15 seconds, the previous function
will reappear but the message ICE will
remain on the bottom left of the screen
until the sensor is reading a tempera-
ture of or above 6°C.
• If the message appears when the
engine is started, there is a defect in
the engine oil circuit. If the message
appears during use, stop the engine at
once, check the oil level and top up, af-
ter waiting for the engine to cool down.

If the message does not appear, check the engine oil level be-
fore starting the vehicle and have the vehicle checked by an
Authorised MALAGUTI Service Centre as soon as possible.
This function may appear for a slight second when the
engine is started or when it is turned off with the ENGINE
STOP control. This does not mean that the engine oil
circuit is malfunctioning.
C) BATTERY CHARGE ALARM (VBATT):
• This displays the battery charge level.
The battery icon and the word LOW will
appear on the top right side of the dis-
play; this message will only appear if
the engine and lights are off.
D) HYDRAULIC STAND ALARM
(only on versions with hydraulically
operated stands):
• This alarm message appears if the
stand opening button is accidentally
pressed while the vehicle is moving or
if the vehicle is indeed resting on its
stand.
E) OIL CHECK/OIL CHANGE - V.BELT CHANGE ALARM:
• These are messages informing you of
the need to provide the checks de-
scribed by the "PREVENTIVE MAINTE-
NANCE (SERVICE)" function. The Au-
thorised MALAGUTI Service Centre will
deactivate the lights and reset the
counters, once the requested operation
has been performed.
