3.8 ANTI-THEFT HOOK

It is in the right lower part (A – Fig. 14) and is integral to the frame,
allowing a firm grasp to any external element (column, post, etc.)
by means of an anti-theft chain that you can purchase from an
Authorised MALAGUTI Service Centre.
Do not hook the chain to mobile structures and/or parked
vehicles.

Always check that the vehicle is steady while it is 'firmly
fixed'.
Never lay the anti-theft chain - usually fitted into a plastic

hose - on the muffler or on other hot parts.
Never ride if the anti-theft chain has not been previously
stored inside the helmet compartment - or inside the
rear top case, if provided.

After turning the engine off, be careful not to touch the
hot muffler in order to avoid burnings.

3.9 GLOVE COMPARTMENT

It is located in the central part of the lower fairing (P - Fig. 15). It is
useful to store small personal belongings.
It is fitted with a lock (A - Fig. 15) which can be opened by turning
the ignition key: press and turn the key counter-clockwise (Fig.
15a).
The electric equipment fuses (B - Fig. 15) and spare fuses are
placed inside this compartment (see section 5.21 of this manual).

Do not store heavy objects or temperature sensitive

items (lighters, matches, inflammable liquids, perisha-
bles goods, etc.) inside the compartments. It is advis-
able not to leave any documents or valuables inside these
compartments.
