ABS SYSTEM 990 ADVENTURE

Checking the fuses

NOTE: 2 fuses for the ABS are located under the starter relay.
– Remove the protection covers and check fuse
blown fuse with an equivalent fuse.

Checking the ABS fault memory using the KTM diagnostics tool

– Connect the diagnostics plug, switch on the ignition and select
"ABS-ECU"
in the KTM diagnostics tool.

– Select "Show diagnostics menu"
– Select "Show DTC/Freeze data"
– Any errors will be listed

with "Clear DTC in ECU"
NOTE: if extreme differences in the rotational speed of the front and
rear wheels arise while driving (e.g. driving on loose ground) error 5032

Checking the ABS sensor with the KTM diagnostics tool

– Select "Show Current data"
– Turn the front and rear wheel.
NOTE:
– The speed of the front ABS sensor will be displayed under "FWS"
– The speed of the rear ABS sensor will be displayed under "RWS"
