Remove the front propeller shaft (refer to

REMOVAL/INSPECTION/
INSTALLATION" section in this chapter).

Slide the spring rings back, then remove the
boot, universal joint yoke, shaft and
compression spring.
Remove the snap rings from the universal
joint.
