Pull tray 1 out.

Firmly grasp the jammed paper, and then gently pull it out.
Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.

Push tray 1 back in.

From the operator panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

Error code Description
250.xx A single page of media is jammed in the
multipurpose feeder.
Multipurpose feeder input sensor (S2) jam service check
The input (S2) sensor is part of the paper pick motor drive assembly FRU, and is not available otherwise.
Actions
Step 1

Open tray 2 to access the jam area, and remove the jammed page.
b
Fan the media.
c
Verify the proper tray settings for the media.
d
Check the condition of the pick tires.
