Description
Choose a preset out of five possible sets of parameters. If
you click on
Change Name
set.
Enter the IP port of the SMB network communication. Default
is port 139.
Select between Workgroup Network and
Homegroup Network.
For detailed information about the correct network type ask
your network administrator.
Select the authentication method.
Enter the user name on the Windows workstation/file server
which you want to connect to.
Enter the password associated with the user name on the
Windows workstation/file server which you want to connect
to. The password is stored using encryption.
Enter the upload path on the Windows workstation.
Start with a backslash (/) for the root directory. Click the icon
to browse the workstation/server list and the directory
structure of the Windows workstation/file server.
Note: A valid login for browsing the directory structure is
necessary.
Enter the file name. Variables can be used to complete the
file name. To learn more about the variables, click on the link
Wildcard
characters.
Click on this link to test the settings. A separate window will open
and shows the test results.
