Introduction

The Comtech EF Data MBT-5003 L-Band Up/Down Converter System is designed to operate in
redundant configuration.
Figure B-1 depicts the redundant signal path for the MBT-5003 L-Band Up/Down Converter
System. The cables, switches, circuitry and logic necessary to perform all the functions of
redundancy operation are self-contained within the MBT-5003 chassis.
