11. Remove the AC modules
12. Remove the fan modules
13. Remove the SBAR assemblies
14. Unplug the Power/System LED assembly cable from the
backplane.
15. The card cage and backplane are secured to the director chassis
with 6 panhead Phillips screws. Use a standard Phillips
screwdriver to remove these screws.
16. Remove the card cage and backplane assembly

Backplane removal and replacement

17. Disconnect the maintenance port cable from the backplane.
18. The backplane is secured to the card cage with 7 panhead Phillips
screws. Use a standard Phillips screwdriver to remove these
screws.
19. Remove the backplane (PWA and frame as one FRU) from the
card cage. Place the backplane in an anti-static bag to provide
ESD protection.
To replace the backplane and all FRUs disconnected from the
backplane:
