This chapter describes repair-related procedures for the SAN140M
director. The procedures are performed at the director, through
storage area network (SAN) management application (EFCM),
Element Manager application, or EFCM Basic Edition interface. The
following procedures are described:
• Obtaining log information.
• Obtaining port diagnostic information.
• Performing loopback tests.
• Blocking or unblocking ports.
• Swapping ports.
• Performing channel wrap tests (FICON only).
• Collecting maintenance data.
