Screw ring assembly
After having accurately cleaned the screw ring and the
seat of the steering head on the frame, apply the pre-
scribed grease both on the threading and on the coni-
cal part of the screw ring, then screw it manually onto
the relative seat.
Recommended grease Agip Grease 30
Utilising the special tool, tighten the screw ring (1) to
the prescribed torque pressure.

Torque pressure of the frame head steering
sleeve screw ring: 95 ÷ 100 N•m
During this tightening operation, press down with force
along the axis of rotation of the tool (see figure).
Tighten the grub screw (2) of steering head.
Torque pressure of the grab screw of the
steering head: 18 ÷ 20 N•m
Assembly steering base
Accurately clean all the parts and check the general
condition.
Before reassembly, grease the internal ring of the bea-
ring and the ball bearing ring on the steering pin with
Agip Grease 30.
Recommended grease Agip Grease 30
