Common Settings for Copy and Fax
The guidance mode and volume can be set for the voice guidance.
You can make the settings for auto power off mode, sleep mode, the
time for switching to those modes, the time to start energy save mode
and the time to cancel it.
Note
You can put the machine into low power mode immediately by pressing
, regardless of these settings. You can also put the machine into
ERGY SAVE
sleep mode by pressing

■Energy Save Period
You can set the time for the machine to switch from low power mode
or sleep mode to normal state, or vice-versa.
"Start Time": When this is set to ON, it sets the time for low power
mode to start.
"Reset Time": When this is set to ON, it sets the time for energy save
mode to stop.
When turned ON, the machine automatically prints a "send/receive re-
port" once 100 faxes have been sent or received.
Note Note
Transmission and reception reports cannot be automatically printed.
When turned ON, you can sort the report by the recipients name. This
can make it easier to locate specific jobs and to confirm job status.
When turned OFF, the report will be sorted by communication time.
You can register the protect passcode required for using the security
functions (secure reception, department management protect, copy
protect).
To change the protect code, you must enter the old one first. Enter
0000 to delete the protect passcode
