Transmitting manually

Use this method when the other fax machine uses manual reception, or when you transmit after

ﬁnishing the phone conversation.

Operating tips

●The optional handset is required when picking up the handset to send the transmission.

●Manual transmissions cannot be sent from the document glass.

How to load document

(see page 1-42)

Check to make sure you

hear a dial tone.

Transmission resolution/

contrast setting (see page

Place the document in the ADF.

(1) Set the resolution and con-

trast as necessary.

(2) Press [Monitor]. Or pick up

the handset.

Press [Others] and select the

desired functions.

For manual transmission, only

limited functions are available

for Other Functions.
