Transmitting manually

Use this method when the other fax machine uses manual reception, or when you transmit after
fi nishing the phone conversation.
Operating tips
The optional handset is required when picking up the handset to transmit.
Manual transmissions cannot be performed from the document glass.

Load the document in the ADF.
2 Press the <FAX> key.
3 (1) Set the resolution and
contrast as necessary.
(2) Press [Others], and [Monitor].
Or pick up the handset.
4 Specify the destination.
