Press ENT. Two right-angled triangles appear.
Press ENT. When the test pattern sequence is complete, the screen displays symbols.
Font size (standard or small) depends upon the setting made previously. When the test is
complete, the PDT 1100 beeps once and returns to the TEST menu.
Key Entry & Beeper and Vibration Test
If you select 7:KEY on the TEST menu, the following screen displays and prepares the PDT
1100 keypad for entry. Press individual keys to display the identifier letters in the positions
assigned to those keys and sound the beeper or activate the vibrator (beeping and vibrating
continues while the individual key is held down). Press the same key again to erase the
displayed letter.
The following table shows the relationship between the keys, the identifier letters displayed
on the LCD, and the frequencies (Hz) of the beeper.
