Action
Use power-up display and/or OCP LEDs
to determine error.
Examine the console event log to check
for embedded error messages recorded
during power-up.
If power-up screens indicate problems
with mass storage devices, use the
troubleshooting flow charts to determine
the problems.
Run RBD tests to verify problem.
Use the
show error
command to
examine error information contained
in serial control bus EEPROMs.
Action
Check system configuration for correct
device parameters (node ID, device name,
and so on) and environment variables
(bootdef_dev, boot_file, boot_osflags).
Run device test to check that boot device
is operating.
