Key to variable attributes:
NV - Nonvolatile. The last value saved by system software or set by console commands is preserved
across system initializations, cold bootstraps, and long power outages.
W - Warm nonvolatile. The last value set by system software is preserved across warm bootstraps
and restarts.
RO - Read-only. The variable cannot be modified by system software or console commands.

NV,W The default filename used for the primary
bootstrap when no filename is specified by the
boot
command. The default value when the
system is shipped is NULL.
RO The filename used for the primary bootstrap
during the last boot. The value is NULL if
boot_file is NULL and no bootstrap filename was
specified by the boot command.
