Adding A Contact; Assigning A Speed Dial Number To A Contact - TerreStar Genus User Manual

If you use Outlook on your computer, you can synchronize contacts
between your device and your computer. For instructions, see
"Synchronization" on page 144.

Adding a contact

1. Tap > Contacts >
When you create a SIM contact, the contact information is stored on your
SIM card. When you move the SIM card to another device, your SIM
contacts are moved as well.
2. Enter the contact information.
If your contact list has been filtered by a category when you create a
contact, that category is automatically assigned to the new contact.
3. Press .
If most of the contacts you create have phone numbers that begin with
TIP
the same area code, in the contact list, tap
code in the Area code field.
To save an existing contact to your SIM card, open the contact and tap
TIP
> Copy Contact > To SIM.

Assigning a speed dial number to a contact

A speed dial number is a number on the device keyboard assigned to a
specific phone number in your Contacts list. You can use the speed dial

, and select a contact type.
