The touchscreen remains active when keyboard is
locked
To avoid accidental taps on touchscreen buttons during voice calls, disable
the touchscreen by pressing the screen key on the side of the device. This
will lock the touch screen.

Wi-Fi connection does not work

You cannot use Wi-Fi connection while in a call, when GPRS data connection
is established or when connected to the satellite network. To establish a Wi-
Fi connection, end the call, GPRS data connection or switch to cellular
network.

Phone

Cannot make or receive cellular calls

Check whether your device is using cellular network. The Network
manager applet on the Home screen indicates the network you are
using. For more information on switching between cellular and satellite
network, see "Switching to the satellite network" on page 88.
Check whether you are in the area with cellular network coverage. For
more information about network coverage areas, contact your service
provider.
