Synchronization
Synchronization keeps selected information up to date on your device and
your computer. You can synchronize the following:
•
Microsoft Outlook® information, including e-mail, contacts, calendar,
tasks, and notes
•
Media files, such as pictures, music, and videos
•
Files, such as documents and workbooks
•
Favorites from your browser
Before you can synchronize, you need to install Windows Mobile
synchronization software on your computer. For more information and to
download the synchronization software, see www.windowsmobile.com/
getstarted.
Using the synchronization software, you can synchronize your device either
with a desktop computer or directly with your company's Microsoft
Exchange Server. For example, you can synchronize only e-mail using the
IMAP4 or POP3 server. For more information see "Setting up an e-mail
account" on page 102.
To manage synchronization, use the ActiveSync application on your device.
You can synchronize your device using either USB or Bluetooth connection.
