2. Select Presume TTY.
3. Press .
When a device is plugged into the audio jack, the phone now expects it to
be a TTY machine. It provides the correct kind of output and disables all
audio modes.
When you are done using a TTY and want to use a headset, disable TTY
NOTE
to enable audio modes.

Disabling TTY

1. Tap > Settings > System > Audio jack.
2. Select Presume headset / headphones.
3. Press .
Audio modes are now enabled again.

Applications

Your device comes with many applications. To access applications, tap
Use Phone to make phone calls and view call history. For more
information, see "Phone" on page 85.
When on cellular network, use Switch to Satellite to switch to
satellite network. For more information, see "Switching to the
satellite network" on page 88.
