Using your device with a TTY machine

Your device is compatible with Ultratec's Compact/C TTY and Ameriphone's
Q90D machines. A TTY (also known as TDD or text telephone) is a
telecommunications machine that allows people who are deaf or hard of
hearing or who have speech or language disabilities to communicate by
phone.
To use your TTY machine, connect it to your device's headset audio jack
using the TTY adapter provided. For easy access to the TTY functionality, set
the Audio jack application to one of the shortcut keys. For instructions, see
"Setting the shortcut keys" on page 79. Use the headset clip on answer/end
key to answer or end a call.
When using your device with a TTY machine, make sure the wire of the
NOTE
headset's right earphone is behind your neck.
