Setting up synchronization software

1. Install Windows Mobile synchronization software on your computer. For
more information and to download the synchronization software, see
www.windowsmobile.com/getstarted.
2. Connect the device to the computer using the provided USB cable.
To set your synchronization preferences, follow the onscreen instruc-
tions. Synchronization settings allow you to set the following:
Create a synchronization relationship between your computer and
your device.
Configure your device to synchronize directly with an Exchange
Server. To set such configuration you need the Exchange Server
address, user name, password, and domain name.
Choose information types you want to synchronize. To be able to
synchronize files later, make sure to select Files and define settings
for them, if needed. The <device name> My Documents folder (with
a desktop shortcut) is created on your computer. Place the files you
want to synchronize into this folder.
3. To allow satellite calls and data connections through your device while it
is connected to your computer:
a In Windows Mobile synchronization software on your computer,
select File > Connection settings.
b Select Allow wireless connection on device when connected to
the desktop.
